cool/not cool letters

it's already 5 am in the morning and I'm still wide awake as I'm so used to sleep after 9 am for the past 9 days. My attempt to tune back my circadian rhythm yesterday failed miserably where the cycle shifted forward instead of going backward. bloodyhell. have to do it again today or I'll be a walking zombie for the next few days.

The past few hours of attempting to sleep, few ideas came up and good enough to blog bout but I'll stick to one for this entry.

It's about which letter is cool and which is not. I'm sure Niesa and Shu will not agree with me if i just list the cool letters, so here I'll categorize all the 26 letters and give some explanation how i did it.

Retard

Dull

Cool

Super Cool

H N P S W Y

A B C D F K L M O Q R T

E I U V Z

G J X

How i categorized the whole alphabet was, pick a letter, put it in front of a noun and say it out loud in your head. ie the letter B and the noun PHONE = B-PHONE. Sounds dull right..

Some examples for the cool, super cool n also the retard letters using the noun Mouse.

E and I seems to make a word becomes intelligent : e-mouse, i-mouse. That's cool. but the letter 'i' is actually between dull n cool cause every new products in the market seems to have that initial.

U - that's cool cause it's actually make a thing becomes 'u'. it also looks like a small smile. eg: u-mouse.

V and Z : with them things become exotic. eg: V-mouse, Z-mouse

G : a definite letter for quality. many brands adopt to use this letter to signify their high end product. ie G-mouse, G-shock, 3G, G-string etc

J : one word to describe it, COOL. few celebrities prefer to use J as a short form of their names so that they sound cool and have better commercial values. ie JT, Mary J Blige, Michael J Fox, J (Jay) Chou, Agent J (Will Smith in Men in Black) and many more. For this blog entry, J-Mouse. cool eh..

X: this is just sexy. also mysterious. ie x-Mouse

Retard letters... they just sound weird. H N Pee asS W whY.

H-mouse, hay-che-mouse. don't like the "che" sound
N-mouse, grammarrr....
P-mouse, wekk.
S-mouse, plain stupid
W-mouse, too long.
Y-mouse?, can't make a proper sentence without a question mark.

that's it. an hour wasted for this entry...

Chewing gum for your ears

been listening to Michael Bublé latest album, 'Call Me Irresponsible'. can easily say that it's a fine album with a good mix of swing, jazz, pop and few other easy listening songs. he's truly a great entertainer even though i think he looks like Michael Schumacher which made me mistakenly thought he's a german.

here's a song from the new album, Everything. This without doubt would beat the hell out of Kci n JoJo - All My Life, the most common wedding song for the last decade.

Today I received my nestum from Malaysia

A title assumed by shu, and as usual you’re wrong. Actually today I did get some new stuff. Did a lil book shopping just now, a yearly thing for me because May is the month I usually get book allowance from JPA but this year it’s done without the cash cause JPA intentionally/accidentally didn’t transfer the money. Not to worry, they gave verbal confirmation that I’ll get the money before end of this month. Em, I’ll just have to take their words for now and continue with shopping.

Exactly 5pm I entered Hodges Figgis with a list of books, a €10 book voucher (thanx niesa) and a credit card that can buy a car if I wanted to. An hour to spend there but half an hour should be more than enough cause I’ve decided to buy only 2 out of 6 books that I’ve listed from a week of research. First book on the list was unavailable and so did the second. Third was in stock but cost me a whopping €26.45 for a 264 pages hardcover book. 10 cent for each page. Very expensive, but I just hold on to it and check for any other similar books from the same categories. Others didn’t have any influence on me to change my mind so I’ll take this expensive book and made a booking for the first book.

When I looked at the price tag, it nearly touch €30 and I need €3 more to spend to get 3 stamps for my Hodges Figgis loyalty card which was already 3/8 full (thanx again niesa). I don’t like to waste so I’m back to the list where next book is an autobiography. Em, already lost interest in that book. Now just 2 books left, both fiction. One is under the category body, mind and spirit and the other one just is another fiction. Hoping that one of them will cost me around €14 but each cost around €11. Damn. If i took all 3 books the total is €48.45. still €1.55 short. Damn some more. It's almost 6 and most of the sections inside the store was closed leaving me with a very limited option, f***, cut the story short I brought another €2.99 small bargain book to the till together with the books I've picked before and paid for all of them making me their last customer for the weekend. hehe, another first time moment for me. A big spend but satisfied, 3 good books and a full stamped loyalty card, which entitled me for a €10 discount for my next purchase, the 1st book.

this is the list. Maybe you guys can get the book i didn't get and read them carefully, then wrap it nicely for my birthday.

  1. Hamas : Unwritten Chapters by Azzam Tamimi
  2. Hamas: A beginner's Guide by Khaled Hroub
  3. Palestine : Peace not Apartheid by Jimmy Carter
  4. Suleiman the Magnificent : The Man His Life His Epoch by Andre Clot
  5. Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho
  6. Perfume by Patrick Süskind

books that i got, from left 1, 5, 6 and Accomodating Brocolli in the Cemetary - Vivian Cook

adjustment

done few adjustments this week and a few more to do. first one was the room. As Lan and his wife found an apartment for themselves, their unoccupied room was left to me, the beneficiary by default. I did offer it to anip n aizad who understandably turn it down seeing that i've been roomless for more than 4 months. Thanx guys.

in term of numbers this room is quite small, bout 4x3m but to have all those to me alone, it's quite spacious. managed to put everything i own here which includes a big desktop pc, training weights and all the other standard malaysian medical student stuff, and still there's more space to spare.

so, hows the set up. bed near the window, pc next to it at the leg area then a dresser. study desk opposite pc which is also next to the bed and a big half empty cabinet at the opposite wall where the bed is.. em, not a good description. better use pictures.. if i can figure out how.. one thing that i like about the smallness of this room is that i can have my own poor man's surround system. what i did was, put the left and right speaker as far as possible, subwoofer at a corner and let all the surrounding walls do the surround effects. works pretty well if i'm facing the monitor or at the study desk cause this is the center of the room. so far, i really like this room, too bad i got it only for a month and a half. going to a new place for the next term.

cooking turns also has changed. before this it takes 4 days to complete a full cooking rotation but 2 housemates left. that's mean i have to cook every alternate days! em, bet there'll be more fried chicken in the menu.

next week i'll be attached to labour night shift in coombe hospital from 11pm till 7am for a week, so i've decided from tonight i'll try to stay up till 7am therefore by monday i shouldn't have any problem staying awake and be a part of the action of something that a man can never do.

i would like to put few more adjustment that i had done or have to do in future, but i'll just finish with the adjustment i did to a friend today... hehe, it looks better in real life...

posted without ipin's permission. haha...

for me adjustment is a good thing. it makes me become a good adapter. the easier you can adapt to a new surrounding the easier for you to succeed... don't whine or blame others. go on with it and build up your potential...

disclaimer no more

there will be no more disclaimer. i'm a just a guy who blog and the lame contents won't cause any trouble, i hope so. it it does, i can always come out with a reasonable reason to back me up...

very early in the morning, and since i've tried a faster method of taking shower i got extra 10-15 mins to waste. so, blogging seems a good way to waste the precious time.

now, downloading greys anatomy and scrubs where both are final episodes for the season, i thought so. so far this season for both series are entertaining, but previous seasons are way better than this. can't really relate the storyline with my aging life. Lost,Prison break and heroes did better for this reason. got to go, 15 mins is not enough for a beginner to blog. ciao..

Disclaimer Part 1

salam... been thinking bout starting a blog long time ago but never ever taking it seriously. yesterday a small talk over a coffee/ice cream made me think again. can i blog...? yep, sure i can. lots of things going on in my head, ideas, weird experiences and some good opinions too which if put into a blog it should be one of the most interesting blog out there, hehe, but the bad news is, i sux in writing. all those thoughts can never be written in a way it should be.

em, what the heck, i'll start with something, go slow start low but go. perhaps in a decade, i got what it takes to write a proper blog/literature.

This blog should not be taken seriously as it is just a tool of expression and for me to improve my writing, grammar etc, feel free to correct.
