wohooo

to all of u, new interns, good luck...! keep in touch k, by updating ur blogs.

waiting

i don't like to wait but since day 1 of summer holiday anything that can be postpone, delayed, put on hold, changed or any thing that can involve waiting, will find me. those waiting really felt like forever to come/happen and currently 2 things i've been eagerly wait had been delayed some more.

1st one, Dell XPS m1330 notebook. It seems there's problem with some parts not available or not enough for this laptop and they (dell) have again delayed the delivery worldwide. so far not even one fellow customer worldwide receive this unit.

2 - harry potter book 7. i was in kelantan for the past 4 days, and the the only hope for me to get a copy of the newly released book was from popular bookstore. but this stupid bookstore together with MPH n Times bookstore countrywide made a pack not to sell the book and blame the publisher for allowing hypermarket ie tesco, carrefour to sell rm40 cheaper than the retail price. what a stupid decision to boycott the publisher. is this how they value their customer..? damn boycotters.as usual, boycotters are stupid. the book will actually sell below retails price in few months time and hypermarket as always will do some bizzare marketing strategy. learn to deal with it k.. this just proved that those 3 boycotters just jealous or "dengki". just think for a while, those hypermarket will not have all the stock for all customers and the cheap deal was just a gimmick to show that they sell cheap things in their hypermarket. today soon after been back in bangi, i went to carrefour alamanda to get a copy of the book but as expected it was all sold out. hmm..more waiting.. n more avoidance. i'll avoid any article/news/blog that got to do with harry potters. i really2 hate spoilers. o yeah, damn "the star" for publishing a news about harry potter spoilers. not sure bout any other newspaper.

dunno what to post

dunno what to write la even though there's so many things happening now. being in malaysia really puts me in very very malas mode. but almost half of the list's already completed.

i don't want to critique malaysia but not bloging bout malaysian football team is really hard to do. 2 games played but goal difference already minus 9..!??! 5-1 with china then 5-0 with uzbekistan... why la... tomorrow it's against the most successful team in asian cup and i guess there's nothing much malaysia can hope. a draw would be a fairy tale and 1-0 defeat is just being over ambitious. 5-0 would be ok la this time. at least, it's the number to celebrate our 50th independence.

Good things might come out of this. cheaper msian jersey for all of us, maybe...

finally home after more than 35 hour journey from dublin. interesting experience but too boring for a blog entry. (cause i'm not good in story writing but above average for verbal story telling, hehe.) also surely there'll be cursing in every sentence and i don't wanna do that here.

good blog

i thought this is a G rated blog because they found 2x "retard", 1x "hell" and 1x "sexy".. but a pg-13 rate would look nice. hehe.. em what the hell (that word might change the rate, hehe. i'll use it more often then) it's a fucked up world anyway (just for the sake of changing the rate, haha).

YB

less than an hour after stating that i might not put another entry, i've watched an interesting clip from screenshots and i really want to say something bout it..

why la some of u YB didn't act like a real YB should. From what i can see that YB title pretty much acronyms for Yang Bergaduh, Yang Bising, Yang Baran, Yang Bohong, Yang Bengap (tak nak duduk gak biler suruh duduk) and obviously Yang Bodoh. well, i for a while was the Yang Bergembire watching that funny scene.

first nazri said otak benang..? what's that..? then bodo bodo bodo which i lost count how many times i've heard, and towards the end after yang di pertua forbid them from using the word bodo, that clever nazri substituted it with tidak cerdik... haha, what a funny lawyer la you... watch the clip til the end kay...

as usual nothing much happened..

not much update with my life n nothing interesting to blog. got few exams coming up starting with .... em, better read miwqa's entry. most of the reader's here read his blog kan... i just can't wait for all the exam to be over n fly home.

other than exam, today i destroyed my credit card because somebody used it for an online transaction. not sure what that mala'on used it for but it's something to do with vodafone online thing which cost me €60. It's definitely not my transaction nor any of my malaysian friends who i trusted with my credit card details cause we all don't use vodafone. The only thing that i can do was made a complaint to mastercard(n doa la of course). Hoping that they'll figure out something and i got the money back. this is my second complaint to mastercard for this moth, where the first one was something to do with interest charge but they eventually refund everything. Hope that luck(rezeki) is still on my side. o i really need that rezeki for the exams first.

If any of you happened to used my credit card with permission, I don't blame or accuse you of using it this time cause i can't really remember who exactly have my credit card details but because of this recently mishap i might be a lil bit skeptical bout lending it again. That doesn't mean i don't trust u. just taking some precautions steps so that i wont be as gullible as i was before.

em, not sure i'm going to put anymore entry till i reach malaysia. nothing to blog ler.. any idea? or questions?

Bad News Malaysia

So many things going on in this world but i would like to highlight one news by cnn which is base on "Trafficking in Persons Report" made by the Department of State, USA. I was so shocked after reading the news and browsing the report, because my beloved Malaysia is in Tier 3..! WTF... That is the worst place u can be in that report. Even India, Cambodia and Zambia (they actually rhymes, hehe) did better than us. The list is on page 44 and details bout malaysia in on page 145 of the report.

So, whose fault is this..? Government..? yep, most of it but not all. According to the report, malaysia already on the tier 2 watch list which was a very clear warning for the government to take some actions but sadly things got worst. Hope YB Fong Chan Onn realized this and take immediate actions or pay the price. This is not the first time malaysia being in tier 3 list, as in 2001 same thing happened but we bounced back to tier 2 the year after, so I believed we can repeat it again and perhaps do better.

I've discussed with friends before about similar matter on how racist some malaysians are toward foreign workers where most of us prefered to think positively that this is not yet serious but me being realistic, keep on criticizing my fellow malaysians. However, i really don't expect malaysia to be placed so bad in the trafficking report.

what does racist have to do with human trafficking? em, hard to explain... i've stuck here quite a while and i decided not to continue as i need to go for the 'last coffee.' U guys can think for yourselves. or maybe i'll continue later.

a short statement

I don't know how, lately, there this small passion for perfume grows in me. I read a lot bout perfume reviews and i've even bought and read Patrick Suskind novel, Perfume that actually made me learnt how to work the olfactory sense to its true potential. Since then there's so many scent to discover and so many aroma to enjoy. That new found skill made me appreciate or distinguish perfume much better than i used to. Calvin Klein which was once a favourite brand for perfume becomes the least desired choice for me, and vice versa for posh brands like Theirry Mugler, Givenchy and Dior.

Is it a problem..? em,not for now, but there a big potential it could be in the near future. it cost me quite a fortune where within a month period I've bought 10 different types of perfumes...! 9 within the last 72 hours. what a record for me who usually buy 1 perfume per year. Not all 10 are for me as most of them are presents for family members back in Malaysia. I kept only 4 for myself. gilerr...

so, here's my short statement. "No more perfume shopping in 6 months time." That should do the work as i'm a man of his word. haha

the collections, minus the airwick.

p/s: Still aiming for Dior Homme and A*Men by Theirry Mugler. *hint* sape2 nak berterime kasih kat aku, bleh la kasi aku either one. hehe *hint*

What’s that flickering red light?

There's a news published in NST about a curious student busted her landlord's act of using spy cam to record her taking shower.

have u read the news..? that pervert's indeed guilty but there's something that can be done by any one of the 19 students in that house to prevent it. Base on what i saw in the pic, the camera was freakin obvious...!

some text taken from the news.
One of the students recalled that the landlord would spend 10 to 15 minutes in each of the three bathrooms in the house on each of his visits.

"He also gave us strange advice, like where to stand in the shower area while we are bathing and which angles to face," the student added.
what can i say more... curiosity might save your ass. probably 19 asses in this case...

pity u girls. sabar je la ye..

cool/not cool letters

it's already 5 am in the morning and I'm still wide awake as I'm so used to sleep after 9 am for the past 9 days. My attempt to tune back my circadian rhythm yesterday failed miserably where the cycle shifted forward instead of going backward. bloodyhell. have to do it again today or I'll be a walking zombie for the next few days.

The past few hours of attempting to sleep, few ideas came up and good enough to blog bout but I'll stick to one for this entry.

It's about which letter is cool and which is not. I'm sure Niesa and Shu will not agree with me if i just list the cool letters, so here I'll categorize all the 26 letters and give some explanation how i did it.

Retard

Dull

Cool

Super Cool

H N P S W Y

A B C D F K L M O Q R T

E I U V Z

G J X

How i categorized the whole alphabet was, pick a letter, put it in front of a noun and say it out loud in your head. ie the letter B and the noun PHONE = B-PHONE. Sounds dull right..

Some examples for the cool, super cool n also the retard letters using the noun Mouse.

E and I seems to make a word becomes intelligent : e-mouse, i-mouse. That's cool. but the letter 'i' is actually between dull n cool cause every new products in the market seems to have that initial.

U - that's cool cause it's actually make a thing becomes 'u'. it also looks like a small smile. eg: u-mouse.

V and Z : with them things become exotic. eg: V-mouse, Z-mouse

G : a definite letter for quality. many brands adopt to use this letter to signify their high end product. ie G-mouse, G-shock, 3G, G-string etc

J : one word to describe it, COOL. few celebrities prefer to use J as a short form of their names so that they sound cool and have better commercial values. ie JT, Mary J Blige, Michael J Fox, J (Jay) Chou, Agent J (Will Smith in Men in Black) and many more. For this blog entry, J-Mouse. cool eh..

X: this is just sexy. also mysterious. ie x-Mouse

Retard letters... they just sound weird. H N Pee asS W whY.

H-mouse, hay-che-mouse. don't like the "che" sound
N-mouse, grammarrr....
P-mouse, wekk.
S-mouse, plain stupid
W-mouse, too long.
Y-mouse?, can't make a proper sentence without a question mark.

that's it. an hour wasted for this entry...

Chewing gum for your ears

been listening to Michael Bublé latest album, 'Call Me Irresponsible'. can easily say that it's a fine album with a good mix of swing, jazz, pop and few other easy listening songs. he's truly a great entertainer even though i think he looks like Michael Schumacher which made me mistakenly thought he's a german.

here's a song from the new album, Everything. This without doubt would beat the hell out of Kci n JoJo - All My Life, the most common wedding song for the last decade.

Today I received my nestum from Malaysia

A title assumed by shu, and as usual you’re wrong. Actually today I did get some new stuff. Did a lil book shopping just now, a yearly thing for me because May is the month I usually get book allowance from JPA but this year it’s done without the cash cause JPA intentionally/accidentally didn’t transfer the money. Not to worry, they gave verbal confirmation that I’ll get the money before end of this month. Em, I’ll just have to take their words for now and continue with shopping.

Exactly 5pm I entered Hodges Figgis with a list of books, a €10 book voucher (thanx niesa) and a credit card that can buy a car if I wanted to. An hour to spend there but half an hour should be more than enough cause I’ve decided to buy only 2 out of 6 books that I’ve listed from a week of research. First book on the list was unavailable and so did the second. Third was in stock but cost me a whopping €26.45 for a 264 pages hardcover book. 10 cent for each page. Very expensive, but I just hold on to it and check for any other similar books from the same categories. Others didn’t have any influence on me to change my mind so I’ll take this expensive book and made a booking for the first book.

When I looked at the price tag, it nearly touch €30 and I need €3 more to spend to get 3 stamps for my Hodges Figgis loyalty card which was already 3/8 full (thanx again niesa). I don’t like to waste so I’m back to the list where next book is an autobiography. Em, already lost interest in that book. Now just 2 books left, both fiction. One is under the category body, mind and spirit and the other one just is another fiction. Hoping that one of them will cost me around €14 but each cost around €11. Damn. If i took all 3 books the total is €48.45. still €1.55 short. Damn some more. It's almost 6 and most of the sections inside the store was closed leaving me with a very limited option, f***, cut the story short I brought another €2.99 small bargain book to the till together with the books I've picked before and paid for all of them making me their last customer for the weekend. hehe, another first time moment for me. A big spend but satisfied, 3 good books and a full stamped loyalty card, which entitled me for a €10 discount for my next purchase, the 1st book.

this is the list. Maybe you guys can get the book i didn't get and read them carefully, then wrap it nicely for my birthday.

  1. Hamas : Unwritten Chapters by Azzam Tamimi
  2. Hamas: A beginner's Guide by Khaled Hroub
  3. Palestine : Peace not Apartheid by Jimmy Carter
  4. Suleiman the Magnificent : The Man His Life His Epoch by Andre Clot
  5. Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho
  6. Perfume by Patrick Süskind

books that i got, from left 1, 5, 6 and Accomodating Brocolli in the Cemetary - Vivian Cook

adjustment

done few adjustments this week and a few more to do. first one was the room. As Lan and his wife found an apartment for themselves, their unoccupied room was left to me, the beneficiary by default. I did offer it to anip n aizad who understandably turn it down seeing that i've been roomless for more than 4 months. Thanx guys.

in term of numbers this room is quite small, bout 4x3m but to have all those to me alone, it's quite spacious. managed to put everything i own here which includes a big desktop pc, training weights and all the other standard malaysian medical student stuff, and still there's more space to spare.

so, hows the set up. bed near the window, pc next to it at the leg area then a dresser. study desk opposite pc which is also next to the bed and a big half empty cabinet at the opposite wall where the bed is.. em, not a good description. better use pictures.. if i can figure out how.. one thing that i like about the smallness of this room is that i can have my own poor man's surround system. what i did was, put the left and right speaker as far as possible, subwoofer at a corner and let all the surrounding walls do the surround effects. works pretty well if i'm facing the monitor or at the study desk cause this is the center of the room. so far, i really like this room, too bad i got it only for a month and a half. going to a new place for the next term.

cooking turns also has changed. before this it takes 4 days to complete a full cooking rotation but 2 housemates left. that's mean i have to cook every alternate days! em, bet there'll be more fried chicken in the menu.

next week i'll be attached to labour night shift in coombe hospital from 11pm till 7am for a week, so i've decided from tonight i'll try to stay up till 7am therefore by monday i shouldn't have any problem staying awake and be a part of the action of something that a man can never do.

i would like to put few more adjustment that i had done or have to do in future, but i'll just finish with the adjustment i did to a friend today... hehe, it looks better in real life...

posted without ipin's permission. haha...

for me adjustment is a good thing. it makes me become a good adapter. the easier you can adapt to a new surrounding the easier for you to succeed... don't whine or blame others. go on with it and build up your potential...

disclaimer no more

there will be no more disclaimer. i'm a just a guy who blog and the lame contents won't cause any trouble, i hope so. it it does, i can always come out with a reasonable reason to back me up...

very early in the morning, and since i've tried a faster method of taking shower i got extra 10-15 mins to waste. so, blogging seems a good way to waste the precious time.

now, downloading greys anatomy and scrubs where both are final episodes for the season, i thought so. so far this season for both series are entertaining, but previous seasons are way better than this. can't really relate the storyline with my aging life. Lost,Prison break and heroes did better for this reason. got to go, 15 mins is not enough for a beginner to blog. ciao..

Disclaimer Part 1

salam... been thinking bout starting a blog long time ago but never ever taking it seriously. yesterday a small talk over a coffee/ice cream made me think again. can i blog...? yep, sure i can. lots of things going on in my head, ideas, weird experiences and some good opinions too which if put into a blog it should be one of the most interesting blog out there, hehe, but the bad news is, i sux in writing. all those thoughts can never be written in a way it should be.

em, what the heck, i'll start with something, go slow start low but go. perhaps in a decade, i got what it takes to write a proper blog/literature.

This blog should not be taken seriously as it is just a tool of expression and for me to improve my writing, grammar etc, feel free to correct.
